As a pure white nanoglass slab, it is a unique option for anyone needing the cleanest, purest white available. nanoglass is created by pouring a mixture that consists of 75% silica into a mold to form the slab. Nano Crystallized Glass Panel is produced in strips that are 400 meters long and fired in a kiln of equal length at 1,550 degrees Celsius.Once formed, Nano Crystallized Glass Panel is cut into slabs that are 120"x64",then calibrated and polished. Any remnants are 100% recycled and reused in the manufacturing process. With a water absorbency rate of only 0.01%, nanoglass is highly unlikely this material will absorb any liquids. The fabrication process for Nano Glass is similar to that of marble,including the recommendation to use a continuous blade. For laminating the edges and gluing the slab to a substrate,it is recommended to use a clear resin from Tenax called Glaxs BM75. It is madespecifically for glass and will not discolor in ultraviolet light.
